Stacy Dobbs grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Social Work degree and was employed as a social worker in Utah before moving to Castaic in 2001. Stacy has actively volunteered for the Castaic Union School District in her children’s classrooms, on the PTA board, School Site Council, and the district Strategic Planning Committee She has also held many leadership positions in her church, including children’s organization president, youth camp director, and counselor in the women’s and youth groups. Stacy is actively involved in the SCV Trustees Association, currently serving as Vice President. She has completed the CSBA Masters in Governance board member training program and annually attends educational advocacy trips to Sacramento. Stacy works as a bookkeeper and is enrolled in the CSUN Master of Social Work program. Outside of work and school, Stacy enjoys camping, backpacking, cycling, yoga, and spending time with her four children.
